Reshuffling Service

New service to support security of supply

Reshuffling Service is a newly developed temporary service. The service enables an exchange (equality in EUR ¹) of unbundled dynamically allocable capacity (DZK) at the interconnection point (IP) Überackern (Entry and Exit) for unbundled interruptible (UK) capacity (Entry) at the GCA IPs in Baumgarten.

How it works?

• System User has booked unbundled dynamically allocable capacities (DZK) at the Interconnection Point (IP) Überackern (Entry und Exit)
• System User books unbundled interruptible capacity at GCA Entry IPs in Baumgarten with a minimum duration of 1 month in regular auction(s) 
• System User requests Reshuffling Service (Form) from Gas Connect Austria at least three (3) working days before the start of service the booked month(s). 
• System User will be released from existing DZK booking at the IP Uberackern to the extent of the value in EUR of the booking of interruptible capacity at GCA IPs in Baumgarten (excluding any multipliers) over the corresponding period of time (pro rata temporis); i.e. fee and hourly flow rate at the IP Überackern will be reduced accordingly; max reduction to 0 (zero) 
• System User is able to use any remaining existing DZK booking (if any) 
• A release equal in value will be deducted at Entry DZK capacity at IP Uberackern first
• Status information of this request is vailable on Capacity Utilization. Alternatively you are invited to contact your Sales Manager directly
• The service offer is of now on available for capacity bookings for the period from July 1,2024 06:00 a.m. until October 1,2027, 06:00 a.m.
• Reshuffling service may be requested until August 2027

Regardless of this service, System Users still have the option of Surrender and offering unused capacities on secondary market.
