As Austria heads into the cold winter months, the country’s largest transmission system operator Gas Connect Austria has announced the completion of a key pipeline that will supply the Vienna area and the Schwechat refinery with natural gas. The 3.3-km pipeline links the EVN transfer point in Schwechat with that of Wien Energie in Mannswörth.
