In the course of an object protection exercise, about 220 soldiers and police officers will be deployed around the Baumgarten gas station from 20 March to 25 March. Exercises of this kind take place every now and then and are aimed at ensuring that official organisational units and civilian infrastructure work together in a realistic manner. As operators of the Baumgarten gas station, Gas Connect Austria and TAG are involved in the object protection exercise and support the army and police. National and international gas transport will not be affected in any way.
