Gas Connect Austria has re-commissioned another part of the equipment destroyed in the accident on 12 December 2017, earlier than planned. As a result, capacity from the transmission system to the distribution area is again fully available and to the same extent as before the incident. This commissioning of a natural gas pipeline, which was originally intended for the beginning of May, was completed three weeks earlier and followed the first partial commissioning on 13 March. The primary goal of restoring transport capacity as quickly as possible has thus been achieved prematurely.
